VOYAGE OF THE VEGETABLE VAGABOND

Click on the link below to see my itinerary for the inaugural Voyage of the Vegetable Vagabond!

I am so grateful to the people who have invited me to stay with them and to others who have helped me with suggestions of other places to visit and things to do, especially through France. And, of course, to Patrick for organising the bloggers get-together in Oxford which was the thing that made me start out on the idea of visiting vegetables gardeners in all parts of the world.

It is going to be wonderful to garden in so many locations and to meet so many lovely people and I only hope I don't fall too far short of your expectations!

Who knows, this may be the start of other such trips by other bloggers and maybe also the first of several for me, the original vegetable vagabond. I would love to begin planning an Australian one - The Vegetable Vagabond Goes Native!

This link will be accessible in the list of Australian sites in the side bar:

What an amazing tour you have planned!! And I love the name, too :-). So happy you'll get to see some of the best of the US - Maine & Seattle, and even Canada! Vancouver is a delightful city (as our the fair citizens of that wonderful country). Wish I could join you on the tour!

This looks like a fantastic trip, Kate. We're looking forward to your visit here very much and to meeting you and gardening with you - as I'm sure all your other vegetable growers are! See you in September!
Love the name too!!!

Wow. Will you end up circumnavigating the globe or will you fly via the US on the way here too?

That's a lot of time to spend sitting in a plane -- better bring a good book! I hope you have a great trip and I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Patrick, it is a direct flight non-stop Singapore to London, (15 hours)clockwise. By the time I get back home I will have gone around the world, which is what people usually do from here because, for some reason, this is cheaper than any other route. From Adelaide, everywhere is a long trip in a plane. Antarctica is quite close, however!!
I am looking forward to meeting you too and all these wonderful people.
