Galangal from Garden to Plate

Getting to know Galangal by Maggie

We think it is lesser galangal, what do you think?

We took these photos of our experiments with galangal.

It is a really lovely plant and the flavour is quite different to any other herb.

I shall revisit this galangal story sometime when I know more about it.

I was really intrigued by this plant. I had to go look it up and learn about its use. I hope you post more about it. Maybe post a Thai or Asian recipe for it. I have saved seeds off and on for years. When I move to a new location the seeds keep me connected to my purpose. I am a Kin Domain advocate so when I say that there were 57 of you blogging here so you wouldn't be dreaming alone I was touched. Thank you for nurturing our sweet earth for future generations.
