Here are some pictures from our Adelaide spring garden with rocket, brassica rapa, parsley & flame tree mustard green going to seed. And an amazing array of flowering herbs including sage, borage, pineapple sage, thyme, watercress, salad burnett, society garlic & many more flowers attracting a myriad of bees other insects.

Now these are my kind of flowers! I have noticed that the bees prefer veggie flowers over flower flowers!
The bees are much slower to appear here but I expect they will get a bit more energetic now it is warming up.

In natural conditions, soil acts as a mineral nutrient reservoir but the soil itself is not essential to plant growth. Hydroponics farmer may be limited in growing crops that either give a high return or rapid turn-over. I am thankful to drop by and read some of great ideas and learn new things.
