On Christmas day 2007 we had duck. It was so delicious I used the bones to make stock and froze it. Yesterday I thawed it (I have been wondering what was in that container, for weeks!) and made some soup. Since there was a bit too much I put aside a cup or 2. Just now I wanted a quick breakfst before going to the market so into the stock I put some of the left-over leaves from yesterdays' cooking - rocket, chicory, sweet potato leaves - and some garlic and pepper. Warmed it up and hey, this is excellent. Leaves room in my stomach for cheese tasting at the market!
